Two reasons you need a Locker:

One: 

You have a Company or Trust and ASIC advise you need to keep your documents in the Companies registered office.

ASIC does not require you to keep your Individual ABN Business documents in the registered office. You can keep your documents in your own office or home office as you are essentially an Individual, not a corporation. You do need to have your Business Registration Certificate visible where you conduct the majority of your business.

Two:

You want to use the office periodically and would like to have some personal belongings available to you when you do.
